My whole live I´m living in cities and I like the positive, active energy of a metropolis which I want to show in my paintings. New York City is my favorite town instead I´m living in Germany.

As a new style I use since some years a combination of digital print with painting. I make photos of various city scenes, defamiliarize them, and paint over them, after they had been printed on canvas. This creates a contrast and tension between print and color, a contemporary representation with todays media.
Each motif is max.10 times used as a background for overpainting.The painting is available in different sizes.It is an original with certificat and signed.
